Lai Cheng is a Public Accountant registered under the Singapore Accountants Act. He has been in public accounting practice for over 20 years and established the Cypress Singapore Public Accounting Corporation in 2005.

Mr Lok currently specialises in audit and assurance, financial due diligence and group restructuring. He also has expertise in transfer pricing, tax planning and business acquisitions. Some of his significant audit clients include property investment entities with net assets of S$500 million, an international oil trader with revenue of S$4 billion, hotels with 500 rooms, and a large non-profit organization with revenue of S$20 million.

Committed to a high level of service delivery, professional ethics and standards, Mr Lok is always willing to listen, evaluate and respond to clients’ changing needs. He believes in a proactive relationship with clients to manage any complex issues, and undertakes an ‘early-warning’ approach to pre-empt possible pitfalls.

Mr Lok is fluent in English as well as Chinese, which gives him an additional advantage in dealing with Chinese clients from China and other countries.
